Russian gas supplies to Europe via the Turkish Stream pipeline increased by 40.5% to 9.26 billion cubic metres in the first half of 2024.
According to the European Network of Gas Transmission System Operators (ENTSOG), a noticeable increase in export volumes was observed in July, Caliber.Az reports, citing a Russian newspaper.
Last month, the volume of pumping totalled more than 1.5 billion cubic metres, which is 29% higher than the June result. In annual terms, the growth was 9%.
The average daily volume of gas pumped from Russia to the EU via Turkish Stream in July was 48.9 million cubic metres. This is the highest figure since August 2023, when Gazprom supplied an average of 49.4 million cubic metres per day.
