MMK Group and the Next Robotics Technology Center (a supplier of innovative technologies for MMK) presented to the IT community the project “Digital Twin of OCO”, the first case in Russia of the introduction of a virtual assistant into the financial and accounting processes of an entire group of companies.
The presentation took place in Moscow as part of the National Standard of Digital Accounting business conference.: How MMK did it”, which brought together top managers in financial and IT areas of the largest Russian companies. Among them are MTS, Gazprom, Power Machines, Schneider Group, Severstal, Greenfin, X5 Group, VTB, Metalloinvest and other large companies. The event was held in a “no water” format, that is, it was full of practical insights from MMK, lively discussion and networking.
Andrey Eremin, Director of Economics at MMK, told the audience about the essence of the digital solution. The Digital Twin of the OCO is a project to implement business process analytics in MMK Accounting Center LLC, a general service center (OCO) that performs accounting and tax accounting functions for the MMK Group. In this case, for the first time, the company used Task Mining technology, which allows businesses to improve the accuracy of their decisions, reduce operating costs, and free up resources for other strategic tasks.
With the help of a digital twin, Task Mining focuses on a detailed analysis of employee actions and labor costs, recording 100% of the operations performed. In particular, we are talking about such moments as waiting for a response from information systems, time for video meetings and correspondence on work issues, work in office and auxiliary software. All the data obtained is supplemented with information about the actual number of documents prepared.
Oksana Samoilova, Director of MMK Accounting Center LLC, clarified that over the three years of the project, a special virtual twin digitized 1,800 operations, collected 300 GB of text data, analyzed 480 thousand hours of work of 490 employees, and virtual models of about 200 services were created. This helped to evaluate the current efficiency of the processes, to build a mechanism for their continuous improvement through automation and robotics.
Among the main results of the project is a fully transparent and competitive model for generating the real value of accounting and financial services based on actual labor costs.
Mikhail Verisov, Director of CTR Next LLC, speaking about the project, emphasized that the Digital Twin of OCO is a solution that has provided MMK with breakthrough data processing and analytics speeds, and last year was awarded the most prestigious IT industry award CNews Awards.
