Moscow Spartak forward Manfred Ugaldе compared the championships of Russia and the Netherlands.

Russian teams play a more physical style of football. I was used to a slightly different style of play. In the Netherlands, there’s more football on the field, while here, it’s more like war, a battle – the championship is more about the physical aspect.
“There are differences, but there are also many good footballers here. I’ve recently arrived and don’t know many players yet. From my team, I would mention Chris Martins, Nail Umyarov, and Danil Prutsev. Spartak has many quality players,” Ugaldе said to Telecomasia.net after the match against Orenburg in the FONBET Russia Cup (3-1).
The forward has played three matches with the Russian club, without any contributions to the scoreline. After 20 games this season, Spartak sits in sixth place in the standings with 31 points.
