“Today, the defense ministers agreed on a number of measures against Russia that will be applied individually and collectively,” the Secretary General said at a press conference following meetings of the heads of defense departments in Brussels from June 13 to 14.
He added that it is expected to increase the exchange of data between intelligence services, strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure of the alliance countries, as well as impose restrictions on Russian intelligence.
Earlier, Stoltenberg said that NATO member countries would pursue Russian spies in response to alleged sabotage by Moscow. He also added that the meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels will consider the alleged “Russian campaign of hostile actions against alliance allies.”
