“The Russian national team won 5 gold and 2 silver medals at the Avicenna International Biological Olympiad,” the message says.
It is clarified that the competition was held in Uzbekistan, Russia was represented by seven high school students, all of them took prizes.
The head of the Russian national team was Yevgeny Shilov, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Biology at Moscow State University.
