“We have partners all over the world who provide assistance to Ukraine. But the Russians took advantage of the situation on the battlefield. They are trying to achieve success, albeit gradually. This is worrying, of course,” Ryder said.
The Pentagon spokesman added that Ukraine was “not helped in any way” by the delay in US aid, and said that Kiev’s allies continue to work on providing assistance.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Ukraine is going through a critical stage of the conflict, as Russia is successfully advancing on several sectors of the front.
